Triangle Tyre has appointed Vaculug as distributor for its OTR (off-the-road) tyre segment in the UK aftermarket, succeeding RH Claydon.
Vaculug will focus its sales of Triangle Tyre’s product range on key OTR sectors, including quarrying, mining, port operations, materials handling, and heavy industrial applications.
Jorge Crespo, the company’s managing director, said: “We are truly excited by the opportunity to enter the market with an agreement with such a leading brand. We are looking forward to building a strong relationship with Triangle and serving both our current customers as well as new ones with quality products.”

Established in 1950, Vaculug is said to be Europe’s largest independent retreader, producing high-quality OTR and Truck retread tyres for fleets across the UK, while offering effective and practical fleet management solutions to its customers.

Luca Mai, OTR Director of Triangle Tyre Europe, said: “Vaculug’s professionalism, infrastructure, and customer-driven approach make them the ideal partner for Triangle in the UK.
“We thank R.H. Claydon for their successful collaboration over the past years and look forward to building the next chapter of growth with Vaculug.”
Since the beginning of its European operations in 2017, Triangle Tyre has focused heavily on refining its distribution model across Europe, appointing the highest-quality operators by country and enhancing the brand’s reputation and visibility at all levels, including the OTR, PCR (passenger car radial), and TBR (truck, bus and radial) segments.
Recent years have seen sustained growth for the Triangle Tyre brand, driven by the introduction of new products across all business segments, participation in industry fairs, and a structured sales and marketing approach. Thanks to the company’s stated commitment to continuous product innovation, key original equipment, and a professional team, Triangle Tyre has consolidated a European double-digit market share over the years.
