Trimble has established Sitech technology distributors to serve civil construction contractors in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Sitech is Trimble’s exclusive dealer for machine control systems andspecialisesin the deployment of site positioning systems, construction site software and professional services.

The territory once served by Sitech Mid-Atlantic has been reorganised to provide customers with more localised sales, installation, training, support and service for its advanced construction technology.

As part of the re-organisation, Sitech Chesapeake will continue to serve contractors in portions of Delaware and Maryland along with additional counties in West Virginia and Virginia.

Additionally, Sitech Horizon will serve contractors in western North Carolina while Sitech Palmetto will serve contractors in South Carolina.

Meanwhile, Sitech Precision will serve contractors in Eastern North Carolina.

The four distributors join a global network of more than 100 Sitech technology distributors and will serve civil construction contractors who involved in earthmoving applications such as the construction of roads and highways.

Sitech technology distributors represent Trimble machine control systems for the contractor’s fleet of heavy equipment, along with Trimble’s portfolio of Connected Site solutions – site  positioning systems, construction asset management services, software and wireless and internet-based site communications infrastructure.

Trimble says construction professionals at each Sitech technology distributor can advise contractors on the appropriate technology solutions to utilise, and provide personalised training and technical support.

The Sitech technology distributors understand how to apply construction technology to help solve a variety of contractors’ construction challenges, the company adds.

According to Trimble, contractors can leverage technology to gain greater insight into their operations, enabling them to  lower operating costs and improve accuracy, safety and productivity.
