In August 2024, Texas, Missouri, California, Florida, and Alabama were the leading producing states for portland and blended cement. In descending order, the leading cement-consuming States (Texas, California, Florida, Ohio, and Georgia) received 38.3% of August shipments.

Masonry cement shipments totalled an estimated 193,000 tonnes in August 2024, a 6.7% decrease from August 2023.
