Worley and Holcim have reached an agreement on a new arrangement regarding Holcim’s carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) projects across its cement facilities in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
According to Worley, the agreement covers 14 projects, of which seven are supported by the European Innovation Fund.
“Under the agreement, Worley will provide Owner’s Engineering services, including engineering oversight, project management, and technical integration. This scope will support the progression of projects from early‑stage development through execution across multiple sites,” Worley said in its release.
“This program forms part of Holcim’s strategy to decarbonise cement production and scale carbon capture technologies in support of its net-zero ambitions.”
