Xylem, a global water technology company focused on addressing challenging water issues, has launched a new mobile app for its online Xylect product selection tool. Xylect Mobile provides customers with quick and easy access to detailed product information from Xylem’s Flygt brand, from any location, simply using a smartphone.
Xylem, a global water technology company focused on addressing challenging water issues, has launched a new mobile app for its online Xylect product selection tool.
Xylect Mobile provides customers with quick and easy access to detailed product information from Xylem’s Flygt brand, from any location, simply using a smartphone.
Xylem was spun off from ITT Corporation on 31 October, 2011, and it designed the app so that customers can input their specific requirements and search for the ideal Xylem product to meet their particular needs. Available in 18 languages, on iPhone and iPad devices, customers can search by application or product type, or by inputting required flow and head. The Xylect app also allows customers to identify all available spare parts for a product, by inputting the serial number of the product that requires parts.
Magnus Stahl, manager sales tools, Xylem Water Solutions, said: “By developing the Xylect app, we are providing a free service for our customers that will deliver Xylem’s expertise directly to them. Our customers often work on site and being able to access information on the move is hugely important to them.”
The new application also allows users to log-in through their own account, so that information can easily be stored and saved. The Xylect app is available free for download at the iTunes App Store.
