The XTREM PRO events were organised in Réunion and Mayotte, respectively, by DMP and MIM (Potier Group), leading dealers in the construction and materials handling market in the Indian Ocean.

Held since 2000, the XTREM PRO events are designed for professionals in the construction and public works sector and this year’s editions attracted over 1,200 visitors. The participants were able to get together with their families and discover Develon machines in dynamic demonstrations using Steel Wrist and MB Crusher attachments.

Pierre Lemerle, public works sales director for the Heavy range at DMP, explained: "We were delighted to welcome our customers, their families and our partners at these events, which have become a must for construction and public works professionals in Réunion and Mayotte."

A subsidiary of the Potier Group, the DMP Group specialises in the distribution, maintenance and rental of handling, construction and agricultural machinery. It all began on Réunion Island with the founding of the DMP family business in 1972 by Jacques Potier.

DMP has historically been the Develon dealer on the EC-approved French territory, Réunion, since 2011, with Develon represented on Mayotte by its subsidiary, Maintenance Industrielle Mahoraise (MIM). MIM also supports sales from Réunion Island.

The company has expanded its scope by representing the Develon brand in Mauritius and Madagascar, two non-EC territories, via the Develon Korea export department. The DMP group has over 300 employees.

The sector leader on Réunion, DMP also markets other major brands, including Bobcat. DMP has been a Bobcat dealer for over 40 years, making it the most experienced Bobcat dealer in France and the French overseas departments and territories.

A workshop and a fleet of more than 30 service vehicles ensure the monitoring and maintenance of more than 3,000 items of equipment operating on the island.
