Jan Moravec appointed general manager, Portable Power for Doosan Bobcat EMEA

The Portable Power business of Doosan Bobcat has announced a new global leadership structure to provide the company with increased efficiencies in terms of global operational footprint, global product platforms and other key initiatives.

Jan Moravec is the new general manager, Doosan Bobcat Portable Power for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)

The appointment of Jan Moravec as general manager, Portable Power for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) aims to streamline the performance of Portable Power products within Doosan Bobcat.

Moravec has been with Portable Power for over 18 years and is based at the Doosan Bobcat EMEA campus in Dobris in the Czech Republic.

He said: "I'm delighted to be taking on the new role of general manager for Portable Power EMEA. Our business has more than 100 years of experience in providing superior products and services for our customers, with a great team of people offering the drive, focus and passion to continue this success.

Moravec said Doosan Bobcat Portable Power EMEA's key goals for 2021 include completing its Stage V compressor range by introducing a new family of small compressors, enhancing its product offering for EMEA markets. Another priority is strengthening the business's dealership network and fulfil all customer needs.

In his new role, Moravec will retain responsibility for product and program management and take on responsibility for sales, service, and supply chain sales, inventory and operations planning, and responsibility for the company-owned stores in EMEA. Moravec will report to Lance Mathern, vice president, Global Portable Power.

Besides portable compressors for the construction, rental, quarrying and many other industries, the Portable Power range from Doosan Bobcat include generators and lighting products aimed at the same markets.
