The Voronezh Mineral Dust Plant is building a facility producing mineral dust for asphalt coating in the Novaya Usman district of Voronezh, western Russia.

The new facility linked to the existing dust plant, owned by Elitstroy construction company boss Eduard Krasnov,  will total produce up to 20,000 tonnes of mineral dust per month. The Voronezh region will use 40-50% of the output.

Worth €4.04million, the project will be financed with funds drawn from Tsentralno-Chernozemny, the head office of Russia's Sberbank. Experts think the payback period will take five to seven years. The new plant will be launched in July 2012.
