Breedon achieved a 'B' rating for Climate Change disclosure and a 'C' rating for Water Security disclosure, reflecting its commitment to environmental transparency and sustainable practices.

The CDP is a global nonprofit that runs the world's environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. Achieving a 'B' rating for Climate Change disclosure places Breedon in the 'Management' band, signifying that the Group is addressing the environmental impacts of their business and ensuring good environmental management whilst taking coordinated action on climate issues. The 'C' rating for Water Security disclosure indicates that Breedon is taking initial steps to manage water resources sustainably, which is critical in the aggregates industry.

Breedon's data will be added to the most comprehensive inventory of self-reported environmental data in the world – helping to drive action through greater transparency. By disclosing through CDP, Breedon is prepared to respond to the increasing demand for environmental transparency from financial institutions, customers and policymakers.

Donna Hunt, Head of Sustainability at Breedon Group, commented: "We are thrilled with the results of our first CDP submission. Our 'B' rating for Climate Change disclosure is a clear indication of our strategic approach to managing carbon and our commitment to reducing our environmental impact. The 'C' rating for Water Security disclosure is also a significant achievement, as it recognises the steps we are taking towards water stewardship. These ratings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and they reinforce our resolve to continue integrating sustainability into every aspect of our operations."
