Lemminkäinen's results for Q1 of 2014

Finnish construction and infrastructure company Lemminkäinen's net sales rose to €321.5 million in the first quarter of 2014 from €306.4 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. The company's operating result was €-17 million compared to €-38.2 million year-on-year or -5.3% of the net sales.

Finnish construction and infrastructure company 4438 Lemminkäinen's net sales rose to €321.5 million in the first quarter of 2014 from €306.4 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. The company's operating result was €-17 million compared to €-38.2 million year-on-year or -5.3% of the net sales.

At the end of the review period, Lemminkäinen's order book stood at €1. 996.5 billion up from €1.626.2 billion a year ago.

Lemminkäinen estimates that its 2014 net sales will be slightly lower than in 2013 but its operating profit will improve clearly on 2013 (excluding non-recurring items).
