Output growth of 10% at Lafarge’s Toledo, Spain plant

Production growth of 10% growth is forecast at 725 Lafarge’s cement factory in the Spanish town of Villaluenga de la Sagra (Toledo). Cement output is set to come to 400,000tonnes for 2014. Additionally, there will be 830,000tonnes of clinker produced. The factory has the biggest installed capacity out of the firm's production network. Slow growth is predicted for 2015 thanks to public works and a slightly more favourable investment framework. Currently, consumption for cement in Spain is around 9 million tonnes/year, but it should be in the region of 20-25 million tonnes/year, industry experts claim.
