According to Krasnodarstat, enterprises in the Krasnodar region (South) of Russia produced 4.6million tonnes of cement in January-September 2014, up 1.2% on Q1-3 2013.
Limestone production grew up 1.8 times to 58,300tonnes; production of blocks and factory produced building components increased by 13.8% to 24,800m³, and paving slab production grew by 12.2% to 1.4 million m².
At the same time, production of ready-mixed concrete lowered 1.5-fold to 1.1 million m³ while the production of natural stone facing slab, construction rock and aggregate materials, and glass decreased 1.4 times.
