Saudi Arabia cement demand down 5%

According to the Head of the National Committee of Cement Producers, Jihad Al-Rashid, cement demand in Saudi Arabia has declined by 5%. The Saudi Arabian cement producers have recorded a total cement production of 57 million tonnes this year. Production surplus reached 22 million tonnes. The drop in the pace of construction is said to be among the leading causes of the large cement surplus.
