The PAS HH 150 pump, to become available by late-April, is suitable for quarrying and mining applications, has a 150mm port and can manage solids of up to 100mm in size. It joins the existing range of PAS HH pumps, the 80 HH, 100 HH and 200 HH.
In addition to mining and quarrying, the PAS 150 HH can also be used for agricultural and temporary firefighting applications, according to Antonio Titomanlio, divisional product marketing manager pumps at Atlas Copco. For firefighting the pumps can produce a jet of up to 12metres high.
He added that all the pumping units are designed for easy serviceability.
Titomanlio said that Atlas Copco’s pumps are now made to reduce noise and spillage and to be compliant with the European Union’s Stage V emissions regulations.
