Simex was due to mark its 25th anniversary with new products and a strong overall presence at bauma 2016.

The Italian company’s new TF 850, 1100, 2100 and 3100 cutter heads have a flow control valve that improves efficiency and durability of the attachment. Mechanical seals increase productivity and are said to prevent wear even when the materials being milled are especially abrasive. Their versatility allows these attachments to be used in a wide array of situations, including utility trenching, profiling, tunnelling, and embankment maintenance. They are also said to be excellent in underwater applications.

The VSE 30 and VSE 20 screening buckets boast the patented system used already on the VSE 40.This mechanism hydraulically adjusts the output size of the screened material in seconds directly from the cabin.

Both models feature a compact structure with a lighter weight (1.8tonnes) that makes handling easier while not affecting strength and durability of the attachment. The VSE 20 has been designed for 14-18tonne excavators and the VSE 30 for 18-24tonne excavators.

Designed for 14-25tonne excavators, the CBE 30 crusher bucket has an excellent weight-to-loading volume ratio. In addition, the bucket features higher wear resistance of the rotor, easy mounting of components subject to wear and excellent productivity. Like the other Simex crusher buckets of the range, the CBE 30 delivers excellent productivity when the material is mixed with earth or contains rebars.
