CEMEX Ventures, the venture capital unit of buildings materials giant CEMEX, is one of 50 companies featured in the Venture Investors 50 List 2018 compiled by US construction industry technology network BuiltWorlds.
The list is comprised of three categories based on the entrepreneurs’ value proposition: Venture Funds, Strategics and Accelerators.
CEMEX Ventures was selected for the Strategics category, which highlights companies that offer startups more than just economic investment. The CEMEX Ventures offering also includes support during the marketing phase, expansion into new markets, and access for entrepreneurs to experts in construction, technology and business.
Launched in 2017, CEMEX Ventures is intended to leverage CEMEX’s knowledge of the construction materials business with new technologies and platforms, focusing on solving the main challenges in the construction ecosystem through sustainable solutions.
