Italian concrete machinery and equipment maker 7490 CIFA has celebrated its 90th anniversary with a new look for the company museum, plus a special edition logo and a truck-mounted pump.

The special edition machine logo emerges from concrete which CIFA says represents "the solidity that CIFA has been confirming every day" since it was established in 1928.

The special edition truck-mounted concrete pump is available in three models: K42L, K45H and the new K47H, which is shortly to be introduced in the standard Carbotech series. The pumps come in three colours: matt anthracite grey, metallic CIFA orange, and metallic Carbotech grey. CIFA says the lightweight K47H model can be installed while remaining within the European legal limit of 32 tonnes on 4 axles.

The anniversary celebrations during the last week of September also saw a series of events organised for CIFA partners and employees.

CIFA says the refurbishment of the museum at its Senago headquarters provided the opportunity to take a walk through its 90-year history, developing from a family business to an international company with 600 employees and several branches all over the world.

The focus of the restyling was on innovation. The museum now has two new areas dedicated to hybrid technology and carbon fibre, which CIFA says are the two solutions that best represent the evolution of its products over the past few years.

There is also an area set aside for vintage machines and an experiential section that simulates a construction site. The latter features an interactive new application that provides a 3D simulation of a CIFA E9 truck mixer from the hybrid range of CIFA's Energya series. This project in the concrete distribution sector is designed to enable cost and energy savings while reducing noise and CO2 emissions.

“The restyling of our museum was 'Driven by Innovation', not only to create cutting-edge solutions but also to provide our customers with added value, anticipating their needs and ensuring their safety,” said CIFA CEO Davide Cipolla. “That’s why CIFA is telling its story through the solutions and machines we have developed over the years and through what we do best: innovation.”
