Russian firm Ulyanovskcement’s cement production up 14.5% in Q1 2012

Russian firm Ulyanovskcement, part of the 3704 Eurocement group, boosted its cement production by 14.5% to 807,000tonnes in Q1 2012. Its output slightly exceeded 705,000tonnes in Q1 2011.

Meanwhile, the volume of the company's products shipped to customers rose by 13% in Q1 2012 to 814,000tonnes. A combined total of 39.2million tonnes of cement and 10m³million tonnes of concrete are produced each year at the 16 plants belonging to the Eurocement group.
