UK: Hillhead 2018 gets underway

For the first time in the event’s history, more than 500 exhibitors were taking part in the staging of the latest staging of the major exhibition for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries. All the major construction and quarrying OEMs such as 473 Volvo Construction Equipment, 395 Caterpillar, 394 Case Construction Equipment, 460 Sandvik, 668 Terex Finlay, 447 Powerscreen, 435 Kleemann, 8626 CDE, 2983 Bell Equipment and 439 Liebherr, along with medium and smaller sized manufacturers, are being represented at the three-day (26-29 June) industry showcase.

As well as exhibiting new and latest equipment models on their stands, OEMs will be putting their state-of-the-art quarrying models to the test in 427 Hillhead’s popular demonstration area.

Thousands of visitors are expected over the course of the exhibition, which is set to enjoy fine early summer weather during its three days.
