Italy’s cement production falls 12% in 2013

In 2013, cement production in Italy fell by 12% year-on-year to 23.1 million tonnes. Cement sales fell by 15.1% to 21.7 million tonnes. In 2014 a drop of 8% is expected, according to Aitec, the Italian cement association.
