3652 Terex Washing Systems (TWS) is celebrating the first birthday of the Terex AggreSand 165 washplant following the official launch in Ireland in September 2013.

The company says the last year has seen the successful installation of the plant on five continents and in over ten countries, processing up to 10 million tonnes.

“The market has really embraced the AggreSand washplant concept with exceptional demand at the moment. To date, TWS has installed multiple AggreSand 165 washplants around the globe. We are constantly looking at innovative ways to further enhance and develop our existing products so we can continue to meet the individual needs of our customers,” says Garry Stewart, application team lead, TWS.

TWS hosted a number of events in 2013 to officially launch the AggreSand 165 in both Ireland and USA; it was also displayed as part of a double bill at the recent 427 Hillhead 2014 show, UK, and the most recent event to showcase the plant was in Australia.

TWS says that the introduction of the AggreSand 165 concept was in response to both changes in the market place and customer demands. The range consists of the AggreSand 165 washplant  (capable of processing up to 250tonnes/hour) and the larger capacity, AggreSand 206 washplant, (up to 400tonnes/hour).

Another new product, the AggreScrub 150, which is designed to operate as a stand-alone unit as well as being able to integrate with the AggreSand, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the World Demolition Awards 2014, in the Innovation – Series Product category. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 7 November.
