Metso lowers operating costs

Metso Minerals is aiming to help customers investing in its latest Lokotrack mobile screen to lower their operating costs. The company claims that the new ST3.5 has been designed to achieve the lowest sustainable cost per tonne as well as being suited to a wide range of screening applications.

0 Metso Minerals is aiming to help customers investing in its latest Lokotrack mobile screen to lower their operating costs. The company claims that the new ST3.5 has been designed to achieve the lowest sustainable cost per tonne as well as being suited to a wide range of screening applications.

The standard ST3.5 Lokotrack is capable of producing two sized fractions, that dependent on the application, can have installed an optional two-deck vibrating grid to yield three sized fractions. The new machine has an aggressive 3.58m by 1.5m screen box with a compact overall size to make it easier to transport.

According to the company, the use of high quality components and use of four identical meshes lowers stock requirements to meet different and diverse applications and improves up time.

The screen is also the first from Metso to be launched under the company's new branding system - ST3.5 translates as screen, tracked, three discharge conveyors, 5m2 of screen deck area. (In this case the actual area is 5.3m2).
