Indian tyre manufacturer 7482 BKT showcased its three new Earthmax tyres at the recent 432 INTERMAT 2015 exhibition in Paris, France.

The new Earthmax SR 47, showcased at INTERMAT in size 24.00 R 35, is designed for rigid dumpers operating under harshest conditions as they can be found at quarries. It features excellent resistance, durability and stability. The increased tread depth ensures an extended tyre life cycle optimising productivity and reducing machinery downtime.

A loader specific tyre, the SR 51 in size 20.5 R 25 has a particular lug design developed in order to ensure best traction in the course of excavating and loading operations. The extra tread depth – classified L5 – and its special compound are said to provide a significantly extended usage life, coupled with increased productivity. Earthmax SR 51 tyres feature excellent expelling capabilities which significantly reduce punctures.

Specially designed for loaders and dozers operating on rocky grounds in particularly harsh conditions within open quarries or underground mines, the particular cut-resistant compound on the Earthmax SR 53 in size 17.5 R 25 increases both durability and productivity. The special tread design is said to reduce the risk of stones or other foreign matters remaining trapped in the tyre.

Like the SR 47 and SR 51, the Earthmax SR 53 is also among BKT’s newest tyres and, like the SR 47 and SR 51, features a very resistant all-steel structure as well as rigid, non-directional blocks favouring a better load distribution on the terrain. The SR 47, SR 51 and SR 53 tyres fit perfectly into the existing Earthmax SR 22, SR 30, SR 40, SR 41, SR 44, SR 45, SR 50 and SR 55 range.
