David Beatenbough, 441 LiuGong Machinery’s vice president R&D, has been chosen as a 2015 China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) ‘Friendship Award’ recipient.

The Friendship Award is the Chinese government’s highest honour to foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to their industry and to China.

A senior executive at LiuGong for the past eight years, US national Beatenbough has been dedicated to improving LiuGong’s Research & Development work. Under his guidance, LiuGong’s R&D teams have made great progress, with several of the company’s technologies reaching international advanced level recognition.

Beatenbough led and managed the development of LiuGong’s new world-class Global Research and Development Center – opened in June 2015.
