Renowned globally for high-performance yet low-cost machines, taking centre stage at Shantui’s 1,000m² indoor booth at BICES 2015 were six new machines: the 119kW and fully hydraulic SD16YS bulldozer, the 127kW hydrostatic DH17 bulldozer and remote controlled DE17R bulldozer, the natural gas powered SD20-5LNG bulldozer, the six tonne-lift natural gas powered SL60WN wheeled loader, and the 14tonne SR14D-3 tandem roller. Further demonstrating Shantui’s R&D prowess, making its debut at the show was the SHF-100 prototype concrete mixer truck.

“We were very excited to demonstrate Shantui’s technical capabilities,” said Shantui vice president Chad Cheng. “With new technology such as the hydrostatic systems on the DH17 and the remote control DE17R, we are showing that we are committed to finding new ways to bring the customer value that works.”

In China, Shantui’s name has long been synonymous with the word ‘bulldozer’.

Today, Shantui claims to be not only the world’s largest maker and seller of brand name dozers, but also offers a highly diversified line of construction, road, public utility vehicles and cement handling machinery, making everything from wheeled loaders and road rollers to truck cranes, motor graders, forklifts and excavators.
