In Russia between January-September 2015, the volume of crushed stone supplies by railway exceeded 97.34 million tonnes (-21.8% in Q1-Q3 2014; -28.3% in Q1-Q3 2013).
The upward trend in consumption of crushed stone delivered by railway was registered only in far east of the country at 5% to 2.8 million tonnes. All other regions reduced the consumption. the Central Federal DIstrict by 29% to 27.8 million tonnes; the North-Western by 28% to 7.58 million tonnes; Urals by 21% to 11.9 million tonnes; Volga by 18% to 20 million tonnes; Siberia by 16% to 9.20 million tonnes; North Caucasus by 13% to 263,600tonnes, and South by 10% to 7.51 million tonnes.
