Russia’s Slantsev cement plant Cesla upgrades production

Slantsev Cement Plant Cesla in the Leningrad region of Russia, and part of the HeidelbergCement group, plans to upgrade production and continue development of its quarry. Slantsev Cement Plant 3803 Cesla in the Leningrad region of Russia, and part of the 674 HeidelbergCement group, plans to upgrade production and continue development of its quarry.

The investments in the project will amount to some RUB 1 billion (€14.45 millionUS$15.38 million).

The plant's range of products includes five kinds of concrete.

Also in the Leningrad region a reinforced concrete products plant has been launched to produce wall slabs, intermediate concrete slabs, beam columns and piles.

The project has been implemented by the Unisto Petrostal company for RUB 1.3 billion (€18.78 million/US$20 million).

Unisto Petrostal plans to lower the construction prime cost by 3-5% after launch of the new production.
