According to Cemsuisse, the Swiss Cement Industry Association, cement deliveries in Switzerland declined by 4.2% in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to a year earlier.
In 2015, deliveries reached 4.219 million tonnes, down 7.9%.
Rail transport accounted for 51.5% of deliveries.
The share of low-emissions cement increased to nearly 90% compared to 6% in 1995.
