In IronPlanet’s April on-site auction, all 176 items that were up for auction sold, which amounted to almost £5 million in gross merchandise volume. IronPlanet’s first on-site Cat Auction Services sale in Belgium is to be aimed at premium buyers of used equipment from the European market. In addition, the auction will be supported by IronPlanet’s online marketplace, allowing bidders to virtually attend from anywhere across the globe.
IronPlanet’s partner for the upcoming land-based auction is Bergerat Monnoyeur, part of the Monnoyeur Group. The auction will feature a high volume of Cat machines supplied by Bergerat Monnoyeur as well as machines from its network of dealers. In advance of its October auction, each machine will be showcased on IronPlanet.com, and any buyers who are unable to attend the event in person have the opportunity to bid online in real-time.

All units sold at auction will be backed by IronPlanet’s IronClad Assurance equipment condition certifications and proven inspection reports, which detail the exact condition and quality of the machines being sold.
