IronPlanet’s second unreserved UK public auction

5053 IronPlanet is returning to the UK r for its second Cat Auction Services Unreserved Public Auction, which will once again be hosted by 3006 Finning UK & Ireland.

The auction, on 18 October at Rockingham Motor Speedway, county Northamptonshire, follows the success of its inaugural public auction in the same location in April.

The on-site auction is aimed at buyers of heavy used equipment from the UK and other international markets, and will also be supported by IronPlanet’s online marketplace, which allows bidders to participate online from anywhere across the globe.

Felipe Fernández-Urrutia Massó, Vice President of European Sales at IronPlanet, said: “The success of our previous Rockingham auction was unquestionable, and reiterated what we already knew: that the demand for heavy used  equipment, both in the UK and overseas, is steadily climbing. The pick up from the Spanish, German, Sweden and Irish markets in particular has continued to grow, and I am excited to see how this will translate for the upcoming auction this autumn.”

The auction will feature Cat equipment from Finning, the world’s largest dealer of 395 Caterpillar construction equipment, engine and power solutions, as well as additional machines from other dealers, rental customers and construction in the UK and Europe.
