Germany-based Haver & Boecker has recently completed a special development of its Niagra T-class vibrating screen with a Niagra vibrating feeder for a track mounted operation with the Polar circle. Both machines have been adapted to suit the requirements of the Norwegian manufacturer of mobile plants Haahjem AS from Vigra which is renowned for its heavy-duty CTC mobile plants with a total weight of over 100 tonnes.

The focus was on the adaptability of the machine for the site in Jamal, Siberia was to achieve the desired performance as well as high levels of flexibility. In addition, paramount importance was attributed to the machines' availability and functionality in a harsh environment with extreme weather conditions as part of a Haahjem CTC 136 S3M track-mobile secondary crushing and classifying plant with a feed rate of up to 500tonne per hour.

The vibrating screen included a pre-heatable circulation oil lubrication to allow for a safe machine start and a long service life in the low ambient temperatures.
