Hard at work: Cappagh’s new Terex Finlay 883 screener

Aggregate recycling specialist Cappagh Group’s new 668 Terex Finlay 883 mobile screener is said to be boosting productivity on its Stanwell site, London.

It has been involved in the contractor’s work at Heathrow Airport, London, and is making reject sand, which is used for pipe bedding and filling.

The 883 joins Cappagh’s fleet of Terex Finlay machinery, supplied by Finlay Plant South East, which is being used for washing and recycling processes.

Family-owned Cappagh, started in the 1960s by Tom Ferncombe, has more than 300 directly employed staff working in utility operations, civil engineering schemes, land remediation projects and aggregate recycling.

It has invested significantly in the delivery of its own aggregate recycling centres, strategically sited across the south-east.

In tandem with its growth, Cappagh has relied on Finlay Plant South East (part of the 4342 Finlay Group of companies) for a range of Terex Finlay and 905 Tesab equipment to continue its expansion programme.
