Clay brick producer Röben-Klinkerwerke would like to open a new clay pit in Reetz since the reserves in the existing clay pit are close to being used up, and the pit is to be turned into a lake.
However, the company would like to dig clay and produce clay bricks in Reetz for at least another 20 years. The new clay pit is to have a size of 46 hectares and requires approval.
