International construction equipment manufacturer 5517 Chicago Pneumatic is introducing a new range of portable and stationary generators.

The new range of portable petrol generators (CPPG) feature a simple labour-saving handle design; engine alarms to protect crucial components; an hour counter; maintenance-free battery, and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) which improves the quality of electricity supplied.

The generator also fully complies with stringent EU noise regulations, for the benefit of contractors working in Europe.

Chicago Pneumatic’s new stationary generators (CPSG) are based on a frame-and-canopy design, and can serve a variety of stationary applications.

“The addition of these generators to our product portfolio, alongside our existing tools and equipment, will enhance our position as the trusted partner of the construction industry,” says Daniel Escuer, product marketing manager power for Chicago Pneumatic.

The company has also launched the new CPS 2.0 portable air compressor.

“In developing this innovative portable compressor, we were aiming from the outset to deliver the power of simplicity,” says Wim Thijs, Chicago Pneumatic product marketing manager – air.

The new Chicago Pneumatic CPS 2.0 portable compressor uses a fuel-efficient 7491 Kubota engine with a maximum speed of 3,400rpm; has a nominal working pressure of 7bar, and a free-air delivery (FAD) rate of 2m3/minute.
