New Scottish premises give MST room to grow

RSSA leading British undercarriage and ground-engaging tool specialist 7721 MST has completed a move into new premises on a site in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.

MST specialises in the supply of replacement undercarriage parts, rubber tracks and ground engaging tools for excavators, bulldozers and other earth moving equipment.

The new state-of-the-art premises on Westfield Industrial Estate will enable the comapny to stock a greater volume and selection of products, including more than 1,000 rubber tracks.

Director of MST, Alan Montgomery, said the move will give the Scottish unit the space it needs to grow while easing the pressures of a swelling order book.

“The new unit will provide us with the space we need as we continue to drive the business forward in Scotland. The new location boasts superb access to the motorway network via the M80 and M73, which will also help us to improve our stock and distribution processes,” he said.

“As well as significantly increasing the range and quantity of parts we have on the ground in Scotland, the location of our new premises will ensure even faster deliveries for our customers.”

MST’s team in Scotland, also offers on-site and full bucket repair services as well as a loan bucket system for some machines while the repair is taking place, has now completed the move to Cumbernauld.

A new sales engineer and additional stores and workshop staff have been appointed to assist with the projected growth of the company and the unit is also currently looking to recruit a new welder in the bucket repair shop to service Scottish
