The rise is said by Svensk Betong to be continuing an upward trend that started in the latter part of 2019. In 2018 and the first half of 2019, concrete production decreased in Sweden. However, as there is a risk that construction projects are postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concrete sector might be affected later this year and in early 2021, the association states.
