EPC-UK says that, since choosing to place a dedicated focus on delivering specialist courses using technologically advanced and considerate teaching techniques, it has become recognised as a competent and trusted training partner for the explosives and blasting sector.
The Institute of Explosive Engineers (IExpE) accreditation rewards EPC-UK with a Badge of Excellence, together with the permission to teach formal qualifications to students that meet Ofqual requirements.
As part of the certification, EPC-UK will receive an “IExpE Accredited” certificate, together with authorisation to use the “IExpE Accredited” logo when marketing its courses.
“We’re delighted to have been awarded this latest commendation,” said Julie Wootton, head of human resources and IT at EPC-UK “and see the accolade as further acknowledgement of EPC-UK’s capabilities in providing excellent levels of specialist training; from courses in blast design and environmental control, to on-site safety.“
She added that EPC-UK’s courses are designed in a bespoke manner and are continuously adapted to meet the needs of particular industries and personnel.
