WCA holds Virtual Open Day

The World Cement Association is today (2nd June) holding a Virtual Open Day from 8am to 6pm UK time.

The free open-to-all event is designed to give attendees the chance to meet the WCA board, learn about the Professional Committees and the PEGASUS benchmarking project, and network with other cement industry professionals.

The Open Day begins with WCA CEO Ian Riley welcoming guests, introducing the Association, its Membership benefits and service, followed by a keynote address by WCA president Song Zhiping.

The Keynote speaker on Sustainability and Climate Change is Mahendra Singhi, CEO of India's Dalmia Cement.

Other sessions include a Meet the WCA Board Q&A Session with speakers including Vincent Lefebvre of Cem'In'Eu and Roland Van Wijnen of PPC. There will also be a Spotlight session on Innovations in Cement Technology.
