National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association needs you!

July 13, 2017

The early bird registration deadline for the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association’s Legislative & Policy Forum/Fall Board Meeting has been extended to Monday, July 10.

Space is also going fast for hosted tours of DC’s most iconic landmarks, so members should register as soon as possible to reserve space, the association says.

"The aggregates industry needs you to make an impact in Washington, DC this Sept 24-28, and educate members of Congress on key issues affecting our industry," the association says.

"You’ll have the opportunity to attend educational sessions on how to best talk about the overly-burdensome regulations and laws facing the industry, and encourage your local lawmakers to take action."

Attendees can also take advantage of DC events and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of America’s most significant landmarks, like George Washington’s Mount Vernon, the US Capitol, the Library of Congress and more.

The forum will also bring in experts to lead a variety of breakout sessions covering community relations, regulatory issues, marketing, government relations and MSHA/OSHA compliance, and provide a venue for all National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association committees to meet.
