8013 Shantui has completed its first bulk export of hydrostatic bulldozers - delivering them to a customer in the Philippines. The shipment by the Chinese manufacturer included 27 units of the 73kW hydrostatic SD10YE and 51 units of the 95kW SD13-2. The equipment is being used on a large-scale infrastructure development project.

To ensure that the machines operated to their optimum level, Shantui technicians travelled to the customer’s job site to provide on-site service training and machine operation instruction, and will remain on standby at the Shantui Singapore Subsidiary Company, in keeping with Shantui’s guaranteed ‘Anytime, Anywhere Service’. Shantui is also providing service training to its local distributor, strengthening its ties to the local market.

The bulk hydrostatic bulldozers’ sale marks a milestone for both Shantui’s product development and performance in overseas markets. The SD10YE hydrostatic bulldozer is the result of years of market research and intensive product development. The model was designed at Shantui’s R&D Centre according to developed markets’ consumer demand.

Utilising a Rexroth hydraulics system, the SD10YE reduces energy consumption dramatically compared to similar models from competitors, and also meets Euro Stage 3B and US Tier 4I standards. The machine is said to be quickly gaining popularity worldwide, having recently achieved sales in the United States and Europe, and is now making headway in Southeast Asia.
