Lafarge Tarmac’s lone worker protection scheme is ‘industry first’

The Lafarge Tarmac Contracting Division is introducing a system that is a first for the highways industry. It has developed in partnership with Reliance Protect a system where lone workers will be given an armband with built-in GPS technology that relays real-time information on their status and location to a control centre.
