The Estonian Road Administration has commissioned the feasibility study of concrete surface roads.

Arvo Tinn, a renowned road engineer from Australia, will supply the expert opinion on concrete roads.

He has said that roads passing through cities should be best under the direct control of the Road Administration as this would ease control over road repairs.

Arvo Tinn claims the building of concrete roads could be cheaper to build than asphalt surfaced roads and repairs of concrete roads would be 20 times cheaper over 20 years.

He suggests that Baltic road builders join forces to procure the concrete road building machinery.
